BLUEGRASS ON SATURDAY’S HORIZON

TARBORO — Tar River Boys performs during last years Bluegrass Festival at Indian Lake Park. The 5-member band is one of four groups that will perform Saturday at Indian Lake Park during the second annual event.

    The offensive struggles continued for the SouthWest Edgecombe Cougars Friday night as they managed just four hits off of four North Pitt Panthers pitchers. The Cougars also left 12 runners stranded in a 7-4 loss to Eastern Plains Conference foe.
