PRINCEVILLE — The Tar River that runs along River Road had risen above the banks and had flowed over River Road Wednesday. Water had risen to 15-and-half feet during the day. Two geese were drifting along the banks where fishermen ply their craft during spring and summer months. The amount of water in the river had come from the massive amount of rain that came through the area during the last 10 days. Correspondent photo/Van Holland
