Art: Selected works from the Hobson Pittman Collection until Aug. 28 at Blount-Bridgers House, including works by his students and artworks that Pittman himself collected. An interesting mix of contemporary and traditional works.
Walking tours: begin at Blount Bridgers House most Saturdays in April through September beginning Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Cost: $5. Tour lasts two hours and includes part of historic district, downtown and Calvary Episcopal Church yard. Tours can also be conducted on Friday or Sunday afternoons by appointment.
