One of the acts on the program for the “Music for Everyone” show at Keihin Audiotorium on Saturday, Aug. 16 is the Danny Daughtridge Trio, an acoustic combo featuring sparkling vocal harmonies and all-original songs. Formed in 2005, the group has played numerous venues throughout the state, including cafes, festivals and house concerts. From left, Danny Daughtridge, songwriter and lead singer for the group, is a multi-instrumentalist who frequently performs on the guitar, banjo, harmonica, and piano. Kim Lyon is backing vocalist and accordionist for the group. Ed Credle is the bassist and backing vocalist. The group is based out of Rocky Mount. The show is a benefit for the restoration of the Colonial Theater. The lineup includes Milton "The Golden Platter" Bullock, Edgecombe Community College’s Eric Greene and his guitar, Tarboro pianist Sally Moseley, Dawn Pearce of Raleigh, Scott Radosevich, the Jazz Tones playing Swing Era tunes, the Tarboro High School Gospel Choir and the Sounds of Gold. Tickets are $15 and available at the Keihin box office, Rusty's, the Blount-Bridgers House and the Edgecombe County Veterans Museum on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
