We must be available to God

We must place ourselves in position to be continually available to our Lord, that we would be in a state of readiness to be used by the Holy Spirit. There is a great work ahead for the Church, and we must prepare ourselves.

God's word speaks prophetically to us and we must needs pay attention:

"And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of My Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: and on My servants and on My handmaidens I will pour out in those days of My Spirit;

and they shall prophesy."(Acts 2:17,18)

The Lord has revealed to us in these verses some of the end-time happenings. The Spirit of prophesy operating in the sons and daughters will impart to them things to come, and the call to preach the Gospel - and yes the word does say: "and daughters."

We must realize that God had for Himself female preachers in the Old Covenant, and he has and will have female preachers in the New Covenant. So, don't judge, but help instead.

Let's look at some women preachers in the Old Covenant, bearing in mind that they represent those in the New: Miriam, Deborah, Huldah, Isaiah's wife, and Anna. (Look these up for yourself.)

You must be very careful with your speech concerning what is of God, and what is not, else you might find yourself judging God's work, and your work is undone!

Something that has been said and accepted for years in the Body of Christ is:

"The Old Covenant is the New Covenant concealed, and the New Covenant is the Old Covenant revealed."
