Time for the Church to come into the knowledge of who we really are ... time to take our 'battle stations.' And what about our battle gear ... what does it consists of?

What are the weapons that have been given to us to fight with? Many may know the gear and the weapons, but if the Body as a whole, does not intercede as a whole, then the total effectiveness is not there. (Now read slowly, Ephesians 6:11-18)

If we teach from the Old Testament, we should be able to lock what we teach, into the New Testament. Old Testament battles were directed toward mankind, but we can win battles today by fighting against the enemy of our soul, who is at war continually against all the saints of God. (I Peter 5:9)

We as the Body of Christ, must never forget that we are at war day and night. After we learn who we are and what our authority is, what our battle gear is and what our weapons consist of, we should never lay down any of the soldier's equipment. We must sleep in full-dress.

We must at all times come before, and walk before our King, Jesus, as people who are 'set apart for God.' Our walk must be in full faith, trust and obedience to His word and the voice of His Spirit.

II Chronicles 7:14, says to us the Church: "If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

If the Church, starting back many years ago, had been doing their job, even in setting the example, this nation and most likely this world, would not be in the position that it is in today.

The Church has failed to be one, as has been ordained by the Lord Jesus Christ. We are rather far apart according to our love for Jesus. (John 15:14 & 17) The Church here in America, has fallen through over and over again, by rebelling against the word of God.

The Church has failed to pray as it should and there is still trouble in the Body of Christ. There are many who come against the truth of God's word. Then there are those who come against others in the Body, failing to recognize each other as brethren. We also see the world and the Church in competition, materially.

We find that we've seen just about all that has been spoken of by the Lord in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21 ... the wars and rumors of wars, pestilence, famine, fearful sights, great signs, nation against nation, kingdom against kingdom, false christs, Christians jailed, beaten, tortured, killed.

When I look what the word is saying, I see two things ahead of us – one is revival by the Holy Spirit, and the other, the 'catching away' of the Church. (I Thessalonians 4:17)

If you view these same things, then you must realize that Christ is coming back for a Church without "spot or wrinkle." (Ephesians 5:27) What should we be doing?

We must not take for granted our salvation with Almighty God. We as sons of God, must become imitators of Him whom God has given to be our example ... Jesus. (Ephesians 5:1-3)

"And being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name: that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." (Philippians 2:8-11)

Of course, we have those who will and do believe, that they cannot lose their relationship with God ... once saved, always saved? However, that's not what the word of God teaches!
