BELVOIR — BELVOIR — Mrs. Mattie Ruth Bullock, 81, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2013. The funeral service will be conducted Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Wilkerson Funeral Chapel.  Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson.

Mrs. Bullock, a native of Wilson County and a lifelong resident of Pitt County, was a graduate of Belvoir-Falkland High School.  She was engaged in farming with her husband until 1989 and was a charter member of Belvoir Free Will Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by, husband, James R. Bullock, daughter, Dianne Bullock, her parents, Floyd and Albert Harrell, sisters, Sarah Williamson, Fannie Williamson, Helen Skinner, Mavis Currin and Sadie Lewis; Brothers, Buddy Harrell and Eugene Harrell.

She is survived by, daughter, Phyllis Bullock Adams and husband, Mike, of Belvoir; son, Doug Bullock and wife, Tammy, of Belvoir; grandson, Chad Bullock, of Belvoir; sisters, Gladys Skinner of Tarboro, Louvenia Stancill of Belvoir, Florence Shapiro of St. Charles, Ill., Shirley Bryant of Parmele, Marie Cobb of Bethel,  andBetty Moore and husband, W.C., of Bethel; and brother, Floyd Harrell and wife, Ernestine, of Conetoe.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Wilkerson Funeral Home, Greenville.
