TARBORO — KENLY — Joyce Wilson Daffin, 78, formerly of Tarboro, passed away on Nov. 21, 2012 after a long illness.  She was born on Aug. 16, 1934 in Oak City, the daughter of the late William E. and Mary Grimmer Wilson.   On Nov. 15, 1957, she married Frank E. Daffin Jr., with whom she shared 55 wonderful years.  After a lifetime of travel, they settled in the Easton, Md. area.  She is survived by her husband; son Charles (Jean) of Easton, Md.; daughter Teresa Blackwell (David) of Stillwater, Minn.; daughter Debbie Denton (Bryan) of Walstonburg; grandson Mike (Katie) and great-granddaughter,  Piper. She is further survived by her brother, Jerry Wilson, of Tarboro, extended family, and numerous friends.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov. 29 at 11 a.m. at Minshew-Coley Funeral Home in Kenly, with interment to follow in Kenly Cemetery.  Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Talbot Hospice House, 586 Cynwood Driver, Easton, Md. 21601.
