TARBORO — RAYMOND LLOYD ‘BUCK KING

Raymond Lloyd “Buck” King, 64, formerly of Speed, died on Friday, September 27, 2013. He was a veteran of the United States Army Special Force and served his country in Vietnam.

Raymond was preceded in death by his father, Earl King, and his stepfather, Robert Denton, Sr.

Raymond is survived by his mother, Edith Warren Denton; children: Raymond King, Jr., Jessica King, Tina King Taylor and Jacub Wolcott; stepson, Zachery Wolcott; grandchildren Olivia Beasley and Brayden Taylor; sisters, Edith Earl Scott and Lois Williams; brothers, Donald Ray King, Robert Denton, Jr., David Denton and Harold Denton and former wife, Carolyn Gooch. Several nieces and nephews also survive him. Raymond was a beloved son father, brother, uncle and friend.

A service to celebrate Raymond’s life will be held Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 2 p.m. at 7689 NC 33 NW, Tarboro, with Jody Harrison officiating. In lieu of flowers, please consider contributions to the family to assist with expenses.
