TARBORO — Anne Hinnant Cratch, 86, passed away early Saturday morning, January 18, 2014 at Vidant Inpatient Hospice Greenville.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 25, 2014, at First Baptist Church, Tarboro, with Rev. Eric Crowe officiating.
Anne was preceded in death by her parents Ruth Worley and Berry Lee Hinnant and a sister Jean Hinnant Frink.
She leaves behind a loving family and devoted husband of 66 years, James Richard Cratch, Jr., their daughter, Cynthia Cratch Hart and husband Ty of Jacksonville, N.C.; two granddaughters, Leslie Hart Waldon and husband Gary of Apex and Jennifer Hart Fritz and husband Joe of Crofton, Md.; three great-granddaughters, MacKenzie Brooks and Sydney Makayla Waldon and Zoe Madyson Fritz; a sister, Rosalie Hinnant Palmesi and husband Johnny of Bradenton, FL, and a brother Paul Worley Hinnant of Lake Waccamaw, and 13 nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at First Baptist Church in the parlor preceding the memorial service from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m Saturday.
Anne’s husband and daughter would like to thank the Spring Arbor staff of Greenville for their loving care of Anne the brief time she was a resident. The family also wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of Vidant’s inpatient hospice house, The Service League of Greenville, for their very compassionate care of Anne and support for her family.
