MARGUERITE “PEGGY” MILLER REID
TARBORO — Peggy Miller Reid, 68, of Tarboro went home to be with her Lord on Friday, November 8, 2013. She was born November 30, 1944 in Washington, D. C.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, November 10 at 3:00 p.m. at the Word of Life International Church, located at 1600 Howard Avenue in Tarboro, conducted by Pastors Dylan Anderson and Jessie Blayloc.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Dale Reid and daughter Donna Powell Williams, both of Tarboro.
Peggy will be remembered by her friends and family as a lady who enjoyed working with and caring for animals and also enjoyed writing short stories. She was a dedicated prayer warrior for her family and friends. Peggy is survived by her daughter Joanne Tracey Supple of Tarboro, her son Thomas Patrick Powell of Knoxville, Tenn., a grandson Matthew Thomas Supple of Cary; granddaughters Tiara Louise Supple, Donna Marie Supple and Emily Rose Supple of Cary; Della Kathleen Powell and Nora Grace Powell of Knoxville and several nieces and nephews.
The family received friends at a visitation held at the church prior to the service. The family has suggested that memorials be sent to “Tarboro Trap, Neuter & Return,” c/o Sallie Davis, President, 1100 Panola Street, Tarboro, 27886
