TARBORO — John G. Dew, 50, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2013.
A memorial service to celebrate his life and pay tribute to his memory will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 13, 2013 at St. James United Methodist Church with the Rev. Caswell Shaw and Pastor Sammy Wood officiating. Friends are invited to visit the family in the fellowship hall immediately following the service.
John was preceded in death by his father, James D. “Tim” Dew, Sr.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Terri Whaley Dew; daughter, Sara Ann Rivers Dew of Raleigh; mother, Betty Ann Pitt Dew of Tarboro; brother, James D. “Bud” Dew, Jr. and his wife, Teresa, of Tarboro; nieces Jaime Dew and Kim Winders and husband, Derreck, all of Tarboro; niece and nephew, Candice Whaley and Dennis Whaley, III of Wilson; great-nieces, Anniston and Merritt Winders; brother-in-law, Dennis Whaley, Jr. and wife, Evelyn, of Bluff City, Tenn. along with many friends and extended family members.
