Bulluck Elementary science fair

TARBORO — G.W. Bulluck Elementary School hosted a science fair on April 29 for all students in the third, fourth and fifth grade.

The students presented experiments that followed the scientific method, defining their purpose, procedure, hypothesis, conclusion and results. Project topics ranged from plant growth, food molding and paper towel strength.

Each project was judged by a group of four community members and three students were chosen as the winners. Abbey Brake was awarded first place, second place went to Tommy Evans and third place went to Brianna Lewis.

G.W. Bulluck Elementary School is located at 3090 Bulluck School Road in Rocky Mount and currently serves 725 students.
