CLEANING THE LINES

TARBORO — Tarboro Firefighters Doug Britt, left and Lee Bell, flush a hydrant at the corner of Office and Wilson Street on Wednesday. The hydrant is one of 670 in town. Britt said it takes his department about three weeks to flush all the hydrants. Photo by Calvin Adkins
