Two men were arrested Friday for intimidating a prosecution witness and another was charged with aiding and abetting them.
According to a press release issued by the Edgecombe County Sheriff's Office, law enforcement received a call that one of the narcotics divisions witnesses was being threatened in person by two suspects who were arrested in a recent roundup.
As the narcotics officers began to gather information, they learned that two of the suspects had pending drug charges in Superior Court and the witness was connected to the case.
According to the release, Stephen Levon Goode, 33, of Wiley Drive, Princeville, Patrick Devon Martin, 34, of Conetoe Mobile Home Park were charged with intimidating a witness.
An accomplice to Friday's crime, Cedric Donal Dozier, 22, of Chestnut Street, Tarboro, was charged with aid and abet.
