Deputies arrest three suspects for theft of auto part

TARBORO — The Edgecombe County Sheriff’s investigators arrested three suspects Wednesday in connection with stealing parts from an auto parts business in Macclesfield on June 19.

According to a press release issued by the sheriff’s department, deputies responded to a breaking and entering and larceny at Big O’s Auto Parts, located outside of Macclesfield  on June 19. An investigation revealed a large quantity of auto parts had been stolen.

Investigators developed a lead that revealed the parts were sold at Foss Recycling in Wilson. They also developed three suspects and arrested Brandon Thomas Watson, 29,  6668 Hwy 111 South, Macclesfield, Aubrey Wade Bullock, 28, 6056 Webbs Lake Rd, Elm City, and Douglas Michael Reason, 27, 6056 Webbs Lake Rd, Elm City.

Watson was charged with breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, felony conspiracy, obtaining property by false pretense. He was placed in Edgecombe County Detention Center under a $7,500 secured bond

Bullock was charged with two counts of breaking and entering, two counts of larceny after breaking and entering, two counts of felony conspiracy and two counts of obtaining property by false pretense. She was placed in the detention center under a $5,000 secured bond

Reason was charged with two counts of breaking and entering, two counts of larceny after breaking and entering,  two counts of felony conspiracy and two counts of obtaining Property by False Pretense. He was placed in the detention center under a $5,000 secured bond.

Knight said some of the property has been recovered.
