11 suspects arrested for back child support

TARBORO — The Edgecombe County Sheriff's Office put together a round-up of people who are behind on their child support on Sunday, calling the operation,  "It takes both parents."

Arrested were 11 men who are behind on their child support in amounts ranging from $300 to as much as $2,750.

The following people were arrested during the operation and are being held in the Edgecombe County Detention Center under cash bonds until their monies are paid to satisfy the courts:

• Lorenzo Donnell Arrington, 25, of Everette Road, Tarboro is being held under a $750 bond.

• Phillip Yarnell Bobbitt, 32, of Proctor Street, Rocky Mount, is being held under a $300 bond.

• Darin Alphonso Everett, 31, of NC 33 Highway, Tarboro, is being held under a $2,000 bond.

• Marvin Columbus Flowers, 38, of McKendree Church Road, Tarboro, is being held under a $2,500 bond.

• Robert Gregory, Jr., 40, of Karen Place, Rocky Mount, is being held under a $1,500 bond.

• Samuel Hakim Pippen, 23, of Beverly Road, Rocky Mount, is being held under $1,500 bond.

• Milton Ray Ransome, 47, of NC 97 Highway, Tarboro, is being held under a $1,500 bond.

• Edward Kenneth Rogister, Jr., 37, of Racoon Run Lane, Pinetops, is being held under a $2,750 bond.

• Dwight Kelvon Shaw, 26, of Bell Street, Princevile, is being held under a $1,000 bond.

• Teranius Mondale Whitehead, 33, of Jerry Lane, Tarboro, is being held under a $390 bond.

• Johnnie Earl Williams, 40, of Church Street, Princeville, is being held under a $1,500 bond.
