A convicted felon faces more charges after the a Tarboro Police officer found him in possession of marijuana on Sunday.
According to a press release issued by the Tarboro Police Department, an officers smelled marijuana coming from Devon Smallwood, 34, 308 Neville St. Apt. 4, Princeville.
The odor gave reasons for the officers to search Smallwood. They reportedly found 7 grams of marijuana in individual packages on the suspect. Smallwood was arrested and charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and resisting a public officer. He was placed in Edgecombe County jail under a $25,000.00 secured.

• Keon Demon Debro, 26, 120, Jackson Rd., Nashville; breaking and entering, assault on a female and injury to personal property.
• Ross Wiggins, 27, 304 Clayton St., Rocky Mount; breaking and entering and injury to real property.
• Richard Douglas Vick III. 700 Howell Rd., Tarboro; criminal trespassing, criminal damage to property.
Charles Tatum Howell, 27, 700 Howell Rd., Tarboro; trespassing.
