Providence names new Tarboro market executive

TARBORO — Robert H. Ladd, III, with more than 30 years banking and lending experience in eastern North Carolina, has been named Tarboro Market Executive for Rocky Mount-based Providence Bank.

Ladd has worked in a variety of positions, including city executive, regional market manager and chief credit officer. He is a graduate of East Carolina University in business administration and is also a graduate of the North Carolina School of Banking. He has served on the Board of Directors for United Way and the Imagination Station Science Museum in Wilson and has held numerous leadership positions at Forest Hills Baptist Church in Wilson. He has also been very active in youth sports programs with the City of Wilson Parks and Recreation Department. Ladd and his wife, Debbie, have three children, Sarah, Rebecca and Bert.

Providence Bank was established in 2006 and is a full-service commercial bank with branches in Rocky Mount at 2401 Sunset Ave. and 450 N Winstead Ave. and in Tarboro at 325 North Main St.  At the end of the third quarter 2013, Providence Bank had assets of $213 million.
