TARBORO — Ashley Elizabeth Kelly and Justin-Ray Scott Whitley were united in marriage on November 17, 2012 at Five o'clock in the evening at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Tarboro, North Carolina.

Rev. Carl Johnson was the officiating minister. The bride was given in marriage by her parents. Miss Erica Hale was the Maid of Honor. The Bridal Attendants were Miss Sherer Etheridge, Miss Sarah Donnelly, Miss Nicole Boyd and Miss Rebecca Whitley. The Flower Girls were Miss Lexi Destefano and Miss Rorie Lunsford. Mr. Gregory E. Whitley, father of the groom, was the Best Man. The Groom Attendants were Mr. Will Kapherr, Mr. Daniel Wiebke, Mr. Josh Briggs and Mr. Mark Hatchel. The Ring Bearer was Mr. Colton Destefano. The Guest Registry Attendants were Miss Megan Temple and Miss Lindsay Ellington. The Program Attendants were Miss Chelsea Hopkins and Miss Christian Lamm. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Edgecombe Community College Atrium in the Fleming Building. The Rehearsal Dinner was hosted by the Parents of the Groom.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. Robert N. Kelly and Mrs. Cathy Kelly of Tarboro, North Carolina. The bride is a graduate of SWE High School and Edgecombe Community College. She is employed as an Angiographer with Nash General Hospital in Rocky Mount.

The groom is the son of Mr. Gregory E. Whitley and Mrs. Gloria Whitley of Old Sparta, North Carolina. The groom is a graduate of SWE High School and NC State University. He is employed as a Quality Assurance Engineer with KCST in Tarboro.

Prior to the wedding, many parties and events were held in honor of the couple. The Engagement Dinner was hosted by friends of the groom. The Misc. Shower was hosted by friends and family of the bride and groom. The Wine Shower was hosted by co-workers of the bride. The Christmas Shower was hosted by the bride's church Sunday school class. The Bridal Luncheon was hosted by Mrs. Debbie Mitchell and Mrs. Leslie Lunsford.

Following the honeymoon trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, the couple will reside in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.
