TARBORO — Eyes of Emiline, comprised of sisters Amanda King, Jessica King and Emily King (from left to right) open for Scotty McCreery with the National Anthem Monday evening at the North Carolina State Fair to a crowd of about 5,000 fans. The Hobgood group will be in Tarboro along with the Hobgood Players on Nov. 23, performing "A Carolina Christmas" benefitting the Edgecombe County Veterans' Military Museum. The show will begin at 7 p.m. in the Martin Middle School auditorium. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the veterans' museum, the Blount-Bridgers House and the Chamber of Commerce.
