HATCHEL

Tiffany and Johnathan Hatchel of Tarboro announce the birth of their son, Johnathan Lee Hatchel Jr., on Sept. 28, 2007, at the Nash General Hospital in Rocky Mount.

At birth, his weight was 7 pounds, 2 ounces, and he was 20 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Pat and Gary Owens of Tarboro. His paternal grandparents are Anita and Ty Cobb and Linwood and Piney Hatchel, all of Tarboro.

Attorney General Roy Cooper is also warning citizens to be on the lookout for price gauging and roving scammers seeking to take advantage of consumers who need help removing trees that are brought down by the storm.
