Bobbie Michelle Holder of Winston-Salem and Joseph Kyle Robinson of Clover, S.C. were married at 5 p.m. August 4 in Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church in Winston Salem. The Rev. Dave Stanford officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Thomas and Donnie Holder of Winston Salem. Her maternal grandparents are Harold and Melba Little. her paternal grandparents are Verna Holder and the late Clyde Holder. The bride graduated from Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs and received a master's degree from Auburn University in Alabama.
The groom is the son of Joe and Jackie Robinson of Clover, S.C. His maternal grandparents are Joyce Arlevia Monday and the late Edward Eugene Kale. His paternal grandparents are Mary Robinson and the late James Alexander Robinson. The groom graduated from Gardner-Webb and received a master's degree from Auburn University.
The bride was escorted by her father. She carried a bouquet of blush cymbidium orchids with cream and green roses, and stephanotis.
The maid of honor was the bride's sister, Christine Lee Holder of Washington, D.C. The bridesmaids were the groom's sister, Kristin Robinson Dover of Clover; Rebecca Fletcher Keller of Raleigh; Tiffany Renee Ivey of Wilmington; Downey Washburn Hinton of Caswell; Mary McBride Hackett of Charlotte; Catherine Thomson Davis of Winston-Salem.
The ushers were John Anthony Cooper and Brandon La'Monte Johnson, both of Auburn; John Charles Dover of Clover; Charles Joshua Parrot of Wake Forest; Jonathan Holroyd Spangler of Oak Ridge; and Michael Adam Turner of Spartanburg.
The flower girls were the bride's cousins, Alyssa Caroline Coleman of Kenly and Madison Grace Davis of Williamston.
The wedding was directed by Carol Reinhardt.
The greeters were Elizabeth Maroska of Clover and Melissa Robinson of Rocky Hill, S.C.
Garrett Hubbard of Washington, D.C. was the scripture reader.
Wedding music was provided by string quartet members, Dan Skidmore, Wayne Reich, Nora Gump, and Brian Carter; trumpeter Benjy Springs; organist Jason Wright; and pianist and vocalist Scott Johnson.
Flowers were designed by Beverly 's of Midway.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Forsyth Country Club, featuring entertainment by The Rob Massengale Band. The wedding cake was provided by Mrs. Pumpkin's. The reception greeters were Mr. and Mrs. Leslie McCormick of Lewisville, and Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Robinson of Rock Hill.
The rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom's parents, was held at Diamond Back.
After a honeymoon trip to Jamaica, the couple will live in South Carolina.
