Council’s mug shots ought to be in post office

Who said only congressman are crooked, all Tarboro has to do is took at the Town Council. In a county that is the second highest in unemployment, a county that

has been in a recession for a long time, these clowns give themselves a 33 percent raise. Why didn't they all get three weeks in Hawaii, also. This is a shame!

When they should be putting their shoulder to the plow to help the town they

are milking it, did you see them smiling in the paper on Wednesday Night, I hope

they aren't smiling at the next election.

It must really be nice to vote yourself a raise, sorry, I mean two raises, you

know one just wasn't quite enough and just think they have five months in this year to sock it to us again.

Well, coming up you will probably hear things like, well, the council hasn't had a raise in so many years that's all they know how to say. When they raise our light bill for the 1000th time they say, well, we have tried not to raise it, but they go ahead and do it anyway.

Look at the people of the council they don't need the money. They just don’t want you to have it.

And we thought Princeville was running a shoddy town council, give us a break guys, I am glad The Daily Southerner put your mug shots on the front page, although they need to be hanging in the post office.
