If eating habits dictated appearance, I should have feathers and cluck! We eat a lot of chicken at our house. So, I am always looking for good chicken recipes. I have quite a few. I hope you enjoy them.
The first recipe is sweet and sour drumettes. The recipe calls for flouring and frying the drumettes. I skip the egg and flour part. I just fry them or bake them and use the sauce recipe. You can do it either way.
The second recipe is an easy chicken barbeque recipe. This one lets you boil the chicken. You can also bake or cook it on the grill. I bake or grill mine. I don’t like it as much when I boil it. You will love this dish. It tastes like BBQ but doesn’t have the saturated fat that pork has.
The third recipe is one that the kids will get a kick out of. You marinate the chicken overnight in Mountain Dew, Mello Yello or any other lemon-lime flavored soda. Then you toss it on the grill or even in the oven. On the grill, it recommends using cherry wood chips. I use whatever I can find but I can rarely find cherry.
The fourth recipe is beer can chicken. You need two cans half full of beer. If you do the math that means that you can drink the other halfs. I have also done this with soda instead of beer. That works just as well.
I hope that you enjoy these chicken recipes and I would love to have your favorites!
