The benefit concert "Music for Everyone" is 7 p.m. Saturday at Keihin Auditorium. It is a fund-raising event for the restoration of the 89-year-old Colonial Theater in downtown Tarboro. Entertainers that will perform include Milton "The Golden Platter" Bullock, the Danny Daughtridge Trio of Rocky Mount playing blues and jazz, Edgecombe Community College’s Eric Greene and four of his friends, Tarboro pianist Sally Moseley, Dawn Pearce of Raleigh, Scott Radosevich of Greenville, Jim Wiggs and the After Six Barbershop Quartet, the popular Tarboro High School Gospel Choir directed by Tony Suggs, and the Sounds of Gold, 30 singers from the area directed by Jesse Shearin of Scotland Neck. Tickets are $15 and available at the Keihin box office, Rusty's downtown, the Blount-Bridgers House and the Edgecombe County Veterans Museum on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
