Both Tarboro men work for Barnhill Contracting Co., which is clearing and grading the land, installing drainage ponds and other tasks. James R. Vannoy and Sons Construction Co. of Anderson, S.C. is the general contractor and will be building the store, Barnhill superintendent Mitch Evans said. The project is expected to be finished Oct. 24. "This place will change in the next two to three weeks," Evans said. "You won't even recognize it.
