Edgecombe Events in February 8th paper

ROCKY MOUNT — Edgecombe Events should be submitted by noon the day before publication. Items eligible include notices of local meetings and activities of non-profit organizations, clubs, schools and civic groups in the community. Income Tax Services

Will be offered at the E.L. Roberson Center again this year. Bring all income documentations for 2012, drivers license and social security card. Tax preparaton services will be held each Tuesday from 9am-1pm.

Funds Available

Intervention and Prevention funds are available to serve at-risk youth in Edgecombe and Nash Counties. Applications accepted through March 1st. Local public agencies, 501 (c) (3) non-profits & local housing authorities interested in applying may call 641-7827,  904-2065 or 827-5058.

Pancake Breakfast

FREE Adoption Meeting

Informational meeting for those interested in learning more about domestic and international adoption with Christian Adoption Services, Inc. Dinner, Show and Dance

The Snow Hill Lion’s Club presents “A Trip Down Memory Lane”, for Valentine’s Day, fetauring Milton Bullock, “The Golden Platter” and former member of the 1960’s and 70’s singing group, THE PLATTERS. Also, featured will be Mary Tate, “Bubblin’ Brown Sugar”, singing variety of MOTOWN recording artist’s hits of yesterday. At the Greene Community Center, 814 W. Harper St., Snow Hill, NC. Doors open at 5:30pm. $20 per ticket. Proceeds will go to the Lion’s Club Community Projects and Outreach for the Blind.
