Cheerleading Clinic: Braswell Center Summer Program

Learn cheers, jumps and chants at these two-week clinics. Mon., Wed., Fri., 9 a.m.-10 a.m. No Class the week of July 4th. Fee is $10.


Edgecombe Arts “The Manners” Summer Camp

The Manners Camp will be 9 a.m.-12 p.m. for ages 7-10 years at Calvary Church, Memorial Hall, Tarboro. Tuition is $50 for Arts Council members and $60 for non-members. Contact Edgecombe Arts at 823-4159 or


Providing School Supplies for Children in Need

Applications for The Salvation Army Apple Tree Program will take place at 9-11:30 a.m. and 1-4 p.m. Location: The Salvation Army, 420 Paul St., Rocky Mount. If your child is need of school supplies for the 2013-14 school year, you may complete an application for assistance. Child must be in grades K-12. Must bring Picture ID, Proof of Income & Expenses, Birth Certificates for Children.

Swim Lessons: Ages 4-15

Children will be taught basic swimming skills for all levels. Class I: 10-10:45 a.m. Class II: 11-11:45  a.m. Cost is $25. Swim Lessons will be at the Commuinty Pool.

JULY 12 - 26

Braswell Center Summer Program: Basketball Camp

Ages 8-13 yrs. old. This camp is designed to develop skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting & coordination. 11 a.m.-12 noon. Fee is $10.


L.Y.N.X. Enrichment Program
