TARBORO — Edgecombe Events should be submitted by noon the day before publication. Items eligible include notices of local meetings and activities of non-profit organizations, clubs, schools and civic groups in the community. Bank Night/T-Shirts


Second Bank night and T-shirt pick-up at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church,  3204 Western Blvd., from 6-8pm.

Golden Kiwanis

Meets at the E.L. Roberson Center 9:45am. The speaker this Wednesday is Connie Sherrill, Co-Chair of the American in Bloom steering committee. Please bring a guest.

Will be sponsoring Gift Bingo on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month from 7-9pm at the E.L. Roberson Center.

A FREE event featuring Hispanic/Latino artist and musicians from 10am-5pm, on the Tarboro campus in the Mobley Atrium, Fleming Bldg., Featuring music 12-1pm and art exhibit 12-5pm. The public is invited. Call 823-5166, ext. 164.

Tarboro High School Athletic  Field Opening Cereminies at 6pm with Survivors Lap at 6:30pm. Come one and all  to Celebrate Survivors, Remember Ones Lost and Fight Back for a Cure.
