Pancake  Supper

Boy Scouts Troop 413 will have a  pancake supper  to benefit the Troops Summer Camp. From 5:30-7:30pm at Webb’s Chapel Church in Macclesfield. 


Cemetery Preservation

A 2-day class meets April 19-20 on the Tarboro campus. Class meets 6-9pm Friday, 8am-5pm Saturday. Cost is $65. Contact 823-5166, ext. 241, or

Day Trip

The E. L. Roberson Center will be hosting a trip to Raleigh. We will leave at 8:30am to tour the Legislative Bldg., Titanic Exhibit, and Museum of Science. You will need to pack a lunch for the day.  Cost is $15. Have to be at least 55 yrs. old. For more information call 641-4263.

Blue Ribbon

Kidz Day

Join us for a fun-filled day for kids and parents alike! From 10am-1pm at the Vidant Edgecombe Hospital in Tarboro. Parents will learn about gun and fire safety as well as how to keep your child healthy. Children will meet Spiderman, jump in bouncers, enjoy snacks and tour police cars, a firetruck and rescue squad! Event is FREE and open to the public.

Symphony Orchestra

Presented by Edgecombe Community College at 3pm in the Keihin Auditorium. This program is funded by the Furman-Mathewson Trust of Edgecombe County Memorial Library. Admission is FREE but tickets are required and may be picked up at the ECC box office or the library.

Bowling Trip

The Braswell Center is planning a Bowling Trip to Greenville to the AMC Bowling Alley. From 5-7pm for ages 10-18. Leaving the center at 4:25pm and return by 8pm. The cost to bowl is $14 for 2 hours and that included  your shoes. To reserve your spot call 641-4210.
