Fire Hydrant Flushing

The Tarboro Fire Dept. will be flushing hydrants this week East of Main St. The flushing will be done daily from 8am-5pm until the entire area has been completed. If you experience any water problems please contact 641-4235 weekdays and 641-4247 after 5pm and weekends.

Will host the 2013 Liter Art Show at the Imperial Centre’s Maria V. Howard Arts Center, Students’ artwork will be on display with the theme “Make Trash to Treasure Papermaking Art.”

Will be offered at the E.L. Roberson Center again this year. Bring all income documentations for 2012, drivers license and social security card. Tax preparaton services will be held each Tuesday from 9am-1pm.

Paws in the Park

At Sunset Park in Rocky Mt. at 11am. Pet Parade, largest dog, smallest dog, best dressed, dog with best tricks and other contests for prizes.    This study is geared toward helping African-American women and communities in eastern NC to improve diabetes outcomes. Recruiting African-American women between the ages of 19-75,  from Bertie, Edgecombe and Pitt counties. Qualified participants will be reimbursed for their time and effort. Project GRACE

A consortium of community organizations and individuals committed to preventing HIV/AIDS in Edgecombe and Nash counties.
