Fire Hydrant Flushing

The Tarboro Fire Dept. will be flushing hydrants this week East of Main St. The flushing will be done daily from 8am-5pm until the entire area has been completed. If you experience any water problems please contact 641-4235 weekdays and 641-4247 after 5pm and weekends.

Will host the 2013 Liter Art Show at the Imperial Centre’s Maria V. Howard Arts Center, Students’ artwork will be on display with the theme “Make Trash to Treasure Papermaking Art.”

Income Tax Services

Will be offered at the E.L. Roberson Center again this year. Bring all income documentations for 2012, drivers license and social security card. Tax preparaton services will be held each Tuesday from 9am-1pm.

Weight Loss Program

Real Estate

A one-day appraiser class on Principles and Techniques for Market Adjustment meets on the Rocky Mt.  campus from 9:30am - 5:30pm. Fee is $65. Call 823-5166, ext. 357.


Mesh Wreath Class

A 6-week calss begins on the Tarboro campus from 6-8pm on Wednesdays in Fleming 173. cost is $35. Contact 823-5166,  ext. 220 or


Garden Club

Will meet for a trip to Raindrop Ridge, a herb farm in Washington, NC. Dorita Byd, owner, will talk on “How to Use Herbs.: Members are to meet at Taco Belll in Tarboro at 8:30am.
