Cheerleading Clinic: Braswell Center Summer Program


Learn cheers, jumps and chants at these two-week clinics. Mon., Wed., Fri., 9am-10am. No Class the week of July 4th. Fee is $10.

JULY 8-11

Infant Swim Lessons: Ages Birth-3 years


Two week swimming lessons meets Mon.-Thurs. where instructor leads parents along with infant in basic swimming skills such as water immersion, floating, kicking and more. 6-7pm. Cost is $25/Infant & parent. Lessons will be held at the  Clark Pool.

JULY 8-19

Swim Lessons: Ages 4-15


Children will be taught basic swimming skills for all levels. Class I: 10-10:45am. Class II: 11-11:45am. Cost is $25. Swim Lessons will be at the Commuinty Pool.

JULY 8-12

Edgecombe Arts “The Manners” Summer Camp


The Manners Camp will be 9am-12pm for ages 7-10 years at Calvary Church, Memorial Hall, Tarboro. Tuition is $50 for Arts Council members and $60 for non-members. Contact Edgecombe Arts at 823-4159 or jturner@edgecombearts.org

Braswell Center Summer Program: Basketball Camp


Ages 8-13 yrs. old. This camp is designed to develop skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting & coordination. 11 am-12 noon. Fee is $10.

Bikers for Americas Bravest

American Legion Riders Post 19 is planning on Saturday. Registration is at 9am, Safety Brief at 9:45am, and KSU at 10am.  Cost per motorcycle is $25. All checks will be made out to “Bikers for America’s Bravest and mailed to 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10306.
