Progressive Democrats Club

   Meeting at 7pm at our district #7 Headquarters. A representative from each precinct will share updates on their “Getting out the Vote” (GOTV) and Voters Registration-Education Activities. All members are urged to attend and bring your neighbors and some friends.



Beginsning it’s 8th LTAI discussion series. Theme: Altered Landscapes North Carolina’s Changing Worlds. “Salt” by Isabel Zuber will be discussed. Call Ann at 252-823-1141 to register or pick up the book.

Golden Kiwanis

Meeting  at the E.L. Roberson Center at 9:45am. The speaker is Dr. A.K. Akoryakos, of Tarboro Internal Medicine, he will speak on infectious diseases.

Class Reunion

THS & TEA Class of 1977 will be having their class reunion at 6a;30pm at O’Henry’s in Tarboro.


Closed for Labor Day

The Edgecombe County Solid Waste will be closed in observance of Labor Day, however, the  Recycling Centers will be open.
