At South Edgecombe Middle School from 3:30-6:30pm. Ride all you want for $10. Pre-Buy Wrist Bands at the school or contact April Barry 813-3218 for more info. Concessions will be open.

Will hold its regular meeting at the Braswell Center beginning at 9:30am.  The speaker will be Ms. Phylis Sumler of  the Famiy Caregiver Program.

Jewelry Show


Everything is $5. Open to the Public from 7am-4pm at Vidant Edgecombe Hospital Classroom.



Candelight Reflections

The Nash & Edgecombe County Caregiver Program and The Rocky Mount Senior Center would like to invite you to attend a Ceremony to honor all those who have lost their lives to Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders as well as the individuals who are presently dealing with the disease. Fall Festival

North East Carolina Prep School. At the Former Mary Frances Center on Howard Ave. Extension from 10am-5pm. This event is open to the public and will have food,  carnival games,  hayrides, face painting, and a trunk or treat beginning at 12pm.



Eason Tiney American Legion Post 19

Will meet at 9am for breakfast, meeting starts at 9:45am. At Abrams Restaurant, 609 W. Wilson St., Tarboro.

Flag Raising Ceremony

At the Veteran’s Memorial on the Town Common at 11am for Thomas R. Bradley, U.S.  Army, Vietnam (KIA). The public is invited to attend the ceremony.

A 1-week Effective Teacher Training Class for substitute teachers meets Nov.  5-9 on the  Rocky  Mt.  campus . Class meets Mon-Fri. 9am-4pm. Cost is $65. To pre-register call 823-5166,  ext. 357.
