NOVEMBER 2

Rabies Vaccination Clinic

State Law requires all dogs, cats, and ferrets 4 months of age and older to be vaccinated against rabies and wear proper collar and rabies tag. 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Tarboro Animal Clinic.

Health and Wellness Fair

Free, community-wide event for men and women at Vidant Edgecombe Hospital

from 8am - 12pm. Event will include clinical breast exams for women and

prostate exams for men, as well as other health information and screenings.

Clinical breast exams will be offered on first-come basis. Gentlemen must

register in advance for prostate screenings by calling 1-800-472-8500 or go

ECC Genealogy

A one-day Intro to Genealogy class meets Saturday, November 2, on the Tarboro campus of Edgecombe Community College. Class meets 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Fee is $70. Contact 823-5166, ext. 241, or flemingm@edgecombe.edu.

Colonial Theatre “Star Light Ball”

The Colonial Theatre “Star Light Ball” will be held at 7 p.m. at the Atrium in the Fleming Building at Edgecombe Community College. The evnt is a fundraiser for the theater’s restoration and tickets are $50 per person for food, drinks, music and a silent auction. For more information, call 823-0891.

NOVEMBER 3

O’Malley Tunstall will help host the Second Annual Wags 4 Tags Eat.Bid.Drink Fundraiser at On The Square Restaurant in Tarboro.  Wags 4 Tags unites rescued dogs from kill shelters and trains them to be companion dogs with psychologically and emotionally impaired veterans in North Carolina.  Please contact Wags 4 Tags at their website or at wagstags@gmail.com for more information.
