Game Clinic


Do you enjoy or have you ever wanted to learn how to play cornhole, horseshoes, bocce, shuffleboard, or croquet? Then join us at the E.L. Roberson Center. 6-9 p.m. We have all the equipment all you have to do is show up!

Tour of Durham

The E.L. Roberson Center is hosting a trip to Durham to tour the city and its historic sites. Cost is $35, which covers the tour. Lunch is separate. All money is due by July 25th. For more info, call 641-4263.

Summer Reading Program Wrap-Up Party

1pm at the Edgecombe Community College in the Keihin Auditorium. A special musical performance by “Big Bang Boom.” Prizes will be awarded to our top readers from each age category.

Walking and Riding for Cancer Awareness and Prevention


Walk and ride the motorcycle at the Thomas Shields Community Center in Hobgood, starting at 8 a.m. There will be music, health screening, raffle, food and more surprises. For the young and old!
