TARBORO — Edgecombe Events should be submitted by noon the day before publication. THS Class Reunion

Class of 2001

Kicking the weekend off at our first home football game (opponent to be determined) and will convene immediately after the game at O’Henry’s for our first night’s mixer. Day 2 will take place at Ribeye’s. Music will be provided by Brad perkins for the weekend. Contact Yashika Jones at 919-378-1913 if you have any questions or concerns. Salute to the USO

7 p.m. in the McIntyre Auditorium, ECC. $15 Adult, $5 Children. Tickets available at the Museum, The Blount-Bridgers House (252-823-4159), Rusty’s Gift Shop, and Tarboro Chamber of Commerce.


NARFE Meeting

The National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association, Rocky Mount Chapter, will NOT meet in July and August . The next meeting will be on 9/10 at 12:30pm at Gardener’s Barbecue Restaurant, 1331 N. Wesleyan Boulevard. For info, call Barbara Holden at 823-2404.


Disaster Preparedness

Marvin Daugherty, meteorologist from WITN TV, will be at the E.L. Roberson Center at 10:30 a.m. He will talk about the upcoming hurricane season, typical weather patterns for this area, and how to best prepare for any kind of disaster.


Edgecombe Arts presents 2nd Annual Bluegrass Festival

10 a.m.-6 p.m., Gates Open at 9 a.m., Indian Lake Park. Tickets $20/person, ages 12 & under free. Tickets available now! Pick up at Edgecombe Chamber of Commerce or buy at the gate on date of event.


1st Annual Myrtle Beach Fun Fling
