Interest Meeting

Are your interested in playing golf? Join the 4-H Golf club for any youth between the ages of 10 through 18! May Day

The E.L. Roberson Center will be hosting the fourth annual May Day at Sunset Church of God, from 9-2. It’s to honor Older Americans Month. This is free and lunch will be provided. To register or for more info call 641-4263.

Juneteenth Community Empowerment Harambee Festival

This FREE event will take place Friday and Saturday. On Fri., it’s the Thelonious Monk Jazz Festival featuring live jazz entertainment from 7pm-11pm in the Booker T. Theater. On Sat. the Junteenth Community Empowerment Celebration featuring artist Mel Waiters, from 12pm-7pm at the Douglas Block. There will also be kids activities, arts/crafts, food vendors, entertainment and more. Congressman G.K. Butterfield will serve as the guest speaker. For more info visit
