TARBORO — Angela Sabrina Whitehead and Gregory Walker were united in marriage on Saturday, November 10, 2012, at three o'clock in the afternoon. The wedding was held at the Parlor of the Magnolia Lane in Marietta, Georgia. Her step-father, the Reverend Jones O. Williams, Sr., officiated at the double ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Ida Whitehead-Williams of Tarboro, North Carolina., and the late Mack Leroy Whitehead. Angela is a graduate of Tarboro High School, Fayetteville State University, Cambridge College in Boston, Massachutes and Lincoln University of Merrysville, Tennessee.

The bride was given in marriage by her mother. Denise Jones Nowell, friend of the bride from Greenville, North Carolina, was Maid of Honor. Roderick Walker, oldest son of the groom from Raleigh, North Carolina, was Best Man.

The groom is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lozerus W. Walker from Atlanta, Georgia, and the late Mrs. Dollie Hodge from Atlanta, Georgia. He graduated from Brown High School in Atlanta. Gregory is employed with the New Breed Company in Fairbura, Georgia.
