Anderson recently awarded Doctor of Optometry degree

ELKINS PARK, Pa.

Kevin David Anderson was recently awarded the degree of Doctor of Optometry by the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Elkins Park, Pa.

Anderson is the son of Lillie and David Anderson of Tarboro.

Anderson received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English from East Carolina University in Greenville and also received a Bachelor of Science in Visual Sciences degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.

The Pennsylvania College of Optometry was founded in 1919 in Philadelphia, Pa., and is recognized as a leader in the education of health care professionals.

The Pennsylvania College of Optometry established Salus University on July 1 and became the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University.

The new University has three additional colleges: the George S. Osborne College of Audiology, the College of Education and Rehabilitation and the College of Health Sciences.
