TARBORO — Daniel Wayne Hollis, 35, 903 Chestnut St., was charged by the Tarboro Police Department with shoplifting and possession of drug paraphernalia after allegedly stealing knives from Wal -Mart Sunday.

Hollis was arrested in the store where the officers found three knives valued at $64, according to the police report. Officers also found a pipe used to smoke marijuana. Hollis was charged with shoplifting and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Other arrest made by the Edgecombe County Sheriff Department from Feb. 19 - Feb. 26 were:

• Travis Blake, 24, 6108 McKendree Church Rd. Tarboro; breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering.

• Edward James Smith Jr. 33, 711 Ellis Rd, Tarboro; simple non-physical threat, intimidation.

• John Aaron Warlick, 28, 954 Old Market Rd., Fountain; simple physcal assault.
