Nationally recognized Native American musician Randy Granger coming Tarboro

TARBORO — By day, Randy Granger is a licensed massage therapist in Las Cruces, N.M., but at other times, he becomes contemporary Native American musician Randy Granger.

Granger is an innovative, award-winning singer-songwriter, composer, recording artist, performer and educator who has been featured on NPR's All Things Considered, PBS Television, numerous radio, TV, live appearances, Hearts of

Space, Native Radio, SIRIUS Mystic Soundscapes, Pandora Radio,

NativeRadio.com, and satellite and terrestrial stations around the World.

Granger's acoustic-based music blends Native American and world flutes, ethereal instruments like the PANArt Hang, world percussion and emotive, unique vocals. A dynamic, solo performer, Granger headlines many festivals and appears in concert around the United States. His storytelling, engaging delivery and entertaining performance is one to be enjoyed. He is currently touring in

support of his new album,  "Strong Medicine,” and will perform at Saint Anne’s Chapel and Event Center at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 23. Tickets are $10 per person at the door.

Granger will also play for a 5 p.m. meditation. A $5 minimum

contribution is requested for the meditation.
