FOR THE DAILY SOUTHERNER
The Tarboro High School class of 1968 celebrated their 45th class reunion the weekend of June 7 and 8. About 120 classmates (including spouses and guests) attended the reunion at Addie’s Main Street Café. The class did a 50/50 raffle both Friday and Saturday night, raising $800 to contribute to their favorite restoration project, The Colonial Theater. Out of town classmates were excited to see the restoration in progress of the theater, the Veterans Brick Memorial (where two bricks are laid for classmates, Harvey Hill and Pat Burk), and the Veterans Wall. The class had a lot of memories to recall, lots of laughs, and tears over deceased class mates. The Tarboro Tigers are already looking forward to their 50th class reunion. Wow! Where did the time go?
