Edgecombe County 4-H member Gracyn Webb is all smiles as she gives “Olivia” her favorite treat, Honey Buns. “Olivia” is Webb’s entry in the 76th Edgecombe County 4-H Livestock Show, which concludes today at the Eastern Carolina Agriculture and Education Center, located at 1175 Kingsboro Road. Today’s action got under way with the market hog show from 8-9:30, followed by the market steer show from 10-11:30. After a brief break, action returns to the show ring when participants show their market lambs between 12:30 and 2:30. The awards ceremony is slated for 6 p.m. and the sale is scheduled for 6:30.
