The SouthWest Edgecombe Cougars varsity team went to Myrtle Beach, SC and put on a show in the second day of the competitions. They won the Canam National Championship in the small varsity non-tumbling. They trailed North Buncombe by seven points heading into the second day and the Cougars came out and hit a flawless routine to secure the title. Cougars coach Teresa Mobley said her girls worked extremely hard. She couldn't be prouder of them.
