The Tarboro High coaching staff celebrates after the Vikings (14-0) defeated South Columbus 46-0 Friday night to win their fifth straight Eastern Regional title. It will be the fifth consecutive trip to the NCHSAA 2-A state championship game for the Vikings, who will play East Lincoln (15-0) at 11 a.m. Saturday at BB&T Field on the campus of Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem.
